Today, my friends and I went to Maymont park. It wasn’t so much that we were there, but that I was there with them, purely for the sake of enjoying ourselves. I made a huge picnik with everyone’s favorites. We pet the goats and fed Elroy, the wizard goat. We saw all of the animals and Michael cart-wheeled down a hill. We continued on to the bamboo forests and decided to get creative. It’s a curious thing, pretending… We, as children, have the instinct to create scenarios and characters in our mind. But, as teenagers, the gift is usually lost unless you practice it routinely. I got a healthy dose of imagination today… So, thank you, Michael and Eddie.
We ate that picnik in my car and listened to music for a while. It was so great, blasting theme songs to shows long forgotten and laughing at comedic melodies. It trully was one of the best days of my life.
I’m glad you were the one to save me while we were LARPing today…

I think I’m gonna go exploring and then maybe put more feathers in my hair…. You hear me, Michaels? I’m coming for you to retrieve Sweethearts and feathers with my employee discount… and my schedule, that too. Wish I had an exploring buddy, but somethings you just gotta do alone.
